In the Services section, find the Vacation modal and click on Make a Request.

Now, you will see two types of vacation requests: Vacation and Paid Vacation. The highlighted option is Vacation, so we will proceed to check the available days per period based on your entry date.
Please note that the minimum number of vacation days required in a new period is six.

You can start by selecting the Start, End, and Return Date, which WALT will suggest based on your labor calendar. Specify the number of vacation days to ensure holidays don't fall within the requested period.
⏳Each new request must have a start date at least two weeks ahead, so be sure to plan your vacation accordingly!
Add a comment, review the terms and conditions, and click Request to submit your vacation request.

💡Keep in mind that you can follow up your request status in My Board - Time Off Requests.
When your manager approves your request, you will receive an email notification that confirms that it has been reviewed.
There will also be a DocuSign notification informing you that your signature is required to complete the request process.

Be sure to complete the required information to finalize the process.
The document must also be signed by your manager.

Once everything is complete, you will receive a DocuSign notification confirming the update.
Additionally, the Request Status and Vacation Counter will reflect the approval process in My Board.
Your request may pass through different request statuses, below are described what means each of them:
Requested: The request has been created but is not yet approved. Action is pending from the relevant point of contact.
Reviewed: The request has been approved by your point of contact, and the DocuSign documentation has been submitted for processing.
Approved: The DocuSign documentation has been completed and verified.
Finished: The Talent Team has reviewed the request and forwarded it to the payroll department for final processing. (This one is not common to see unless you are an Admin user).
